ABOUT
THE ARTIST.

Monique Nashaye Mullins is a Florida-based abstract expressionist who works primarily in acrylic on canvas. She picked up a paintbrush in 2020 and discovered more than a hobby—painting became an emotional outlet, a welcome escape, and a gateway to creative expression.

Though Monique once believed she did not have an artistic bone in her body, she sold her first piece within her first month of painting. What began as a hobby quickly became a passion rooted in connection, expression, and the freedom to create without rules.

Outside the studio, Monique is an avid reader, book collector, and volunteer at her hometown library. She hopes to extend her creative impact through entrepreneurship, art education, and philanthropy.

Whether you collect a piece or simply connect with the work, Monique welcomes your thoughts. Follow along and share what the chaos makes you feel on Instagram.
